  12. I.  Minimum System Requirements for the Demo

  14. •    68030/25 MHz processor or higher, or Power Macintosh
  15. •    System 7
  16. •    8 MB RAM
  17. •    9-inch or larger monitor, 256 colors
  18. •    Double-speed CD-ROM drive
  19. •  Virtual Memory must be turned off

  22. II.  Launching and Stopping the Demo
  23.  
  24. The Self-Running Demo runs from the CD-ROM disc.  For faster performance, copy all the Demo files to a hard disk and run the Demo from there. Copying to a hard disk requires about 20 MB.

  27. To launch the Demo from the CD-ROM disc:   
  28.  
  29. 1. Double-click "The Inside Story Demo" CD-ROM icon on the desktop.  The READ ME! icon and the "Inside Story Demo Folder" icon appears.

  31. 2. Double-click the "Inside Story Demo Folder" icon.  "The Inside Story Demo" icon appears.

  33. 3. Double-click "The Inside Story Demo" icon. The Demo starts.

  36. To copy the Demo to a hard disk and launch it from there:

  38. 1. Double-click "The Inside Story Demo" CD-ROM icon on the desktop.  The READ ME! icon and the "Inside Story Demo Folder" icon appears.   
  39.  
  40. 2. Drag  the "Inside Story Demo Folder" to your desktop or other location on your hard disk. A.D.A.M. copies the Demo to the hard disk.

  42. 3. When copying ends, open the new "Inside Story Demo Folder" icon on the hard disk by double-clicking the icon.

  44. 4. Start the Demo by double-clicking "The Inside Story Demo" icon in the folder.

  47. To stop the Demo:  press command-Q or command-period.  If a lengthy sound is playing, the Demo stops after the sound ends.
